So Long, For Now

  Hello Ladies,

In case you hadn't noticed, I haven't been blogging for a while. I can't believe I started this blog a year ago! It's just been one of those things thats been pushed to a back burner. I think I may have mentioned it before, but I also write a fashion blog called Fashionably, Ashleigh. I really love blogging about fashion and I just haven't put as much effort into blogging about beauty.

So, for now, I will be stepping away from Beautifully You and focusing on my other blog. I'm not deleting this one. The tutorials and reviews will still be here. And I may come back in the future and start posting again.

This post is just to thank everyone who followed and commented. You were all such an encouragement to me. And those of you who were silent readers, you are special too.

  So, so long, for now.

Garner Clean + Makeup Removing Lotion

  Hello Ladies!

First off, thank you to everyone who's stuck around for this long. I apologize for not posting more frequently. I have a fashion that I post to as well, and sometimes I just don't take the time for beauty pictures.

I'm back today, however, with a review for a product I really love! I've been trying in vain for a really long time now to find a good eye make up remover. Everything I tried either dried my eyes out, irritated them, or didn't really remove the makeup.

Evian Facial Spray Review + Giveaway

Hello Lovelies!

When I first heard about Evian Facial Spray, I was a little bit skeptical. I mean, it sounded like a huge gimmick. Water in a spray bottle. Not that exciting or earth shattering.

Beauty Review Post #15 - Pixi By Petra Glow Tonic Toner

  Hello Ladies!

Today I'm reviewing a product that is one of the best I've ever used.

I've seen the Pixi By Petra makeup line in Target for a while now, but I've never tried any of there products.

Why You Should Exfoliate In The Winter + Exfoliate Review

  Hello Ladies!

Wow, time is flying by! I feel like January just started.

So, the title; why should you exfoliate in winter? Well for a few reasons.

  1. Build up. When our skin goes for long amounts of time beneath fabric ( like in the winter ), we build up a lot of dead skin cells. These are the flaky skin that sits on the surface and causes us to itch. Exfoliating gets rid of the dead skin layer.

  2. Less absorbent. As the dead layer builds up, we try to fix is with lots of moisturizer. I know because I've done it. However, is you get rid of the dead layer, your skin's new layer is now ready for moisturizing and will hold said moisture much better.

  3. Dull appearance. That dead layer is not only going to keep your lotion from properly working, it's also going to make you look dull and lifeless. There will be no healthy glow. Proper exfoliation will remove excess skin, revealing the new skin layer and consequently, a glowing complexion.
